We are looking for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to step into Team Leader MIT role to lead the radiographers in our central branches, including our new branch in Remuera. We need someone to drive efficient MIT services to the highest quality and build and support a team of likeminded peers.

About the role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior MIT Technologist to lead and manage MIT (General and CT) staff across multiple branches, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability. Some of the other key responsibilities in this role are:
- Overseeing operational performance, including rostering, recruitment, induction and resource management
- Maintaining high technical standards in radiological procedures and ensuring compliance with quality systems
- Leading and supporting audit compliance activities, ensuring documentation, procedures and imaging practices meet internal and external standards
- Delivering exceptional patient care and build trusted relationships with refers and stakeholders
- Promoting continuous improvement and innovation in imaging practices
- Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld, including radiation safety and hazard management

To be eligible for this role, you require:
- A registration with the New Zealand MRTB with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Extensive experience in radiography and proven leadership capabilities
- Strong understanding of medical imaging technology and systems
